Winners for both men's and women's individual events crowned at the Chinese national archery championship on Sunday in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Yang Jianping, a veteran from Shanxi, won the women's title scoring 106 points. Huang Wanping from Fujian and Guo Faping from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region placed second and third respectively.
Guo missed the mark in her 7th shooting in the semifinal and thus lost the right to the final.
Yang Jianping who has 18-year archery practicing experience is a mother now. She took a rest for two years and returned to play in last May. She said after match that she felt herself in good condition.
In the men's final, Jin Xiangqing from Shandong took the crown. He maintained his steady form in the final and won a major victory over Wang Gang from Shaanxi by scoring 113. Li Zhiyong from Henan won the third place.
Fang Chao from Hei Longjiang failed to maintain his stable performance in the 1/8 and was eliminated from the final four.
