San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will be out of the remainder of the NBA season, including the playoffs, due to injury in his right leg, the team said on Monday.

Ginobili was injured in Sunday's game at Cleveland and he then returned to San Antonio for examination which showed a fracture in his right distal fibula.

Ginobil earlier sat out 19 games before coming back on March 25,and Sunday's contest was his sixth since returning to the lineup.

Ginobili is the team's third-leading scorer, averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds this season.
