The high school attached to the Tsinghua University won the national title for the third consecutive year after beating Putian first high school team from Fujian Monday at home.

Tsinghua high school is the first team to make it a three-beat in the seven-year history of the competition after it won the best-of-five Finals 3-0.

It defeated Putian first high school 73-50 on the road on March 28 and made it 2-0 after winning 81-45 at home.

The third game was much easy to be predicted as Tsinghua high school led all the way to the final victory.

The national championships started November in 18 provinces in China with Tsinghua and Putian first high school teams advancing after three rounds for the final berths.
