Villarreal defender Diego Godin said on Monday that injured team mate Santi Cazorla would be his team's inspiration against Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Cazorla broke his leg during Villarreal's 3-0 defeat in Almeria on Saturday night and will be out of action for the next four months.

The loss of the Spain international will be sorely felt by Villarreal that plays an Arsenal team currently returning to its best form in the English Premier League.

Arsenal has recovered long term injured players Cesc Fabrigas and Emmanuel Adebayor and is favorite to qualify for the semifinal.

Nevertheless, Godin says Cazorla will be Villarreal's inspiration on Tuesday night, even though he will not be on the field.

"He is a key player for us, but we have a good squad and I am certain that whoever comes into the team will do well," Godin told the Villarreal website.

"We are going to try and beat Arsenal so that Santi feels he is part of our victory," he added, before looking at Villarreal's rival.

"Arsenal is in a great moment of form, but apart from our last defeat, we are also playing well. This team is ready to recover from that and I am certain we will play really well on Tuesday," said the Uruguayan.

The good news for Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini is that he can count on Spain international midfielder Marcos Senna, who has been struggling with a twisted ankle.

Attacking midfielder Cani will also be available after recovering from problems in his upper thigh.
