Ghanaian professional golfers taking part in the 2009 Tour Partners are in Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub for the second edition of the competition.
Nigeria based Ghanaian top player, Emos Korblah and officials of PGA Nigeria Tour on arrival welcomed the Ghanaian team led by Vincent Torgah.
Ghanaian order of merit number one Victor Brave-Mensah is also part of the team that arrives on Monday.
The five-man Ghanaian team also has Stephen Klah, John (Wonders) Mawuli, and youthful Kojo Barnie.
Four of the players were part of the inaugural edition of the TPC in 2008. The only player that is making his first trip for the TPC is Kojo Barnie, who is the youngest of the lot.
Already there are two other Ghanaian players playing as members of the Nigerian PGA (professional Golfers Association) apart from the five that are joining on Sunday.
They are Emos Korblah and Jay Jay Harvey, who are both are based at the Otukpo Golf and Country Club in middle belt Benue state and are bonafide members of the Nigerian PGA, the umbrella body for professional golfers in the country.
Olusola Lawson, chief executive officer of PGA Nigeria Tour, organizers of the tournament announced that former Nigeria's Head of State, Yakubu Gowon is expected to officially tee-off the event and play a ceremonial round on Wednesday the at the Ikoyi Club 1938 (Golf Section).
The expected at the event are Tour professionals from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt and Cote d'Ivoire.
