Milwaukee Bucks' center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined for least eight weeks with a back injury revealed this week, the National Basketball Association team said Wednesday.
The Australian underwent a series of tests and evaluations earlier this week and was found an incomplete stress fracture in his lower back.
He will continue to rehabilitate the injury through strengthening exercises and rest, and will be re-evaluated in eight weeks.
Bogut had already missed 13 games this season due to back pain. The number one overall draft pick in 2005 has averaged 11.7 points and a team-leading 10.2 rebounds in 36 games this season.
