Man jumps off railway station building

| The rescuers confronted a man standing at the entrance on the second floor of Beijing Western Railway Station on June 15. At about 8 a.m., a dagger-wielding man climbed the ledge on the station's second floor and stood on the edge overlooking the station entrance. The man jumped down after a six-hour confrontation, landing on the air cushion set up by rescuers. Police took him in for questioning.[Jinghua Times/China.org.cn] |
