Rain devastates southwest People run to avoid being caught in a mudslide as workers try to rebuild a road blocked by landslides in Deqin, Yunnan province, yesterday. Heavy downpours, accompanied by squalls, have lashed Southwest China over the weekend, leaving 20 people dead and 42 missing in Yunnan.
