Stranded passengers wait to conduct procedures at the Airport of Madrid, Spain, Dec. 3, 2010. Spanish air traffic controllers initiated a lightening strike on Friday, which caused the closure of the airports of Madrid, Mallorca, Minorca and Ibiza, the Canary Islands and in the region of Galicia, as well as causing the closure of all Spanish airspace.
