Heavy rainfall hits Haikou

People walk in flood water in Qionghai on Oct. 17, 2010. Haikou was hit by heavy rainstorm since Saturday. As of Sunday noon, a total of 48,440 people have been evacuated from 194 flood-ravaged villages.
