Hospital building collapses in Taiyuan

Two places on Shuangta East Street collapsed Thursday morning, and a nearby outpatient building of Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital followed in Taiyuan, the capital of North China's Shanxi province on August 12, 2010. No injuries were reported. The collapse was caused by erosion from constant leaking of a cracked underground pipe, according to staffers Taiyuan Institute of Municipal Engineering Design and Research. [CFP]
