Having the illusion that she is a dog, a hen named Mabel in Britain kidnapped a litter of puppies and roosted on top of them as if she were their mother. This perplexed the puppies' real mother Nettle, who could do nothing but to watch helplessly as Mabel brooded over her darlings. [CRI]
