Chinese mainland, Taiwan hold joint lantern fair

The 2010 Jiangsu Qinhuai Lantern Fair also known as the 24th Confucian Temple Spring Festival Lantern Fair was jointly launched by Chinese mainland and Taiwan in Nanjing on Thursday, two days before the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday.

The 2010 Jiangsu Qinhuai Lantern Fair also known as the 24th Confucian Temple Spring Festival Lantern Fair was jointly launched by Chinese mainland and Taiwan in Nanjing on Thursday, two days before the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday. More than 300 different lanterns, including 100 from Taiwan, lit up the park running along the Confucius Temple-Qinhuai River scenic belt.
