Poland's Archery team will be hoping that the husband-wife combination of Malgorzata and Ryszard Olejnik help them strike gold at Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
Malgorzata and Ryszard got married in 1990. They have been competing in Archery competitions ever since and have also won several Paralympic Medals.
"Ryszard is the most important support for me. My family and shooting are both number one thing in my life." said Malgorzata. "Competing together gives me a lot of help. It's not pressure at all. We celebrate when either wins and encourage each other when we lose."
Malgorzata, who is one of Poland's best archers, has won medals in the last three Paralympics Games (bronze in Athens 2004, silver in Sydney 2000 and gold in Atlanta 1996).
Her husband Ryszard won the gold medal in the Men's Individual Recurve in Atlanta 1996.
They are confident that Poland will do well in Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
"I feel great. Everything here is first class except that it is very hot. It was 20-24 degrees Celsius in Sydney in 2000 and it is around 15 degrees in Poland now." said Malgorzata, who will be competing in the Women's Individual Recurve - Standing category and the Women's Team Recurve Open.
Malgorzata also said that the Beijing Games could be the last major events they compete in. "We plan to retire after Beijing (Paralympics). We want to spend more time educating kids," she said.
