The third phase of Olympic tickets sales is scheduled to kick off on Monday with 1.4 million tickets covering 16 Olympic sports available for purchase by the general public. The sports include the men's football final and preliminary and semi-finals of the men's 110 metre hurdles.

The third phase of Olympic tickets sales is scheduled to kick off on Monday with 1.4 million tickets covering 16 Olympic sports available for purchase by the general public.

People will be able to purchase tickets at more than 540 Bank of China outlets, as well as through the official website of the Beijing Olympic Ticketing Office. 20,000 of the tickets on offer will be reserved for the disabled.

Unlike the first two phases, each person buying tickets in this third phase will be allowed to buy a maximum of six tickets at a time. After tickets are paid for in full, the purchaser can apply for more tickets...but still only a maximum of six at a time. Tickets sold during this phase will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
