The sacred flame of Beijing Olympic Games is to arrive in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, Northeast China on Sunday.
Local government has released the route of the torch relay in Jilin Province in a news conference on Saturday morning.
According to Zhao Peifeng, the director of Sports Bureau of Jilin Province, the sacred flame will arrive in Changchun by plane in Sunday afternoon.
The torch will be successively relayed in Changchun, Songyuan, Jilin and Yanji from July 14 to 16, covering 32.75 kilometers in the four cities and lasting for 8 hours and 35 minutes all together.
"If you look at a map, you will find that the route of the torch relay in Jilin Province draws an image of a wild goose releasing good news," said Zhao.
The torch relay in Changchun will begin at Changchun Sports Center and conclude at the World Sculpture Park;
The beginning of the relay in Songyuan is Olympic Square and the end point is Dongzhen Square.
That in Jilin and Yanji will respectively starts at City Government Square and Yanbian University, and ends at Sailing Square and Rhododendron Square.
"We aimed to broadcast the theme of 'one world one dream' and the conception of 'green Olympics', 'High-tech Olympics' and 'Humanistic Olympics' by holding the Olympic torch relay in Jilin Province," said Zhao.
"Also we want to show the development and the environmental achievements of us to the whole world, which we hope will promote the development and the revitalization of the old industrial zones of Jilin Province," he added.
