Chinese singer You Hongming was at China Agricultural University Gymnasium in Beijing Wednesday to shoot the music video for the Olympic Song Hero.

Hero tells the moving story of the Tanzanian runner John Steven Akhwari, who finished in last place at the 1968 Olympic Marathon. During the race, Akhwari fell, dislocating a knee joint, but he continued running and never quit. This hero will also be participating in the music video for Hero.

 

You became one of the first singers to begin shooting the first batch of music videos for the Beijing 2008 Olympic songs. A lineup of singers, including Joey Yung, Nicholas Tse, Coco Lee, Huang Xiaoming, Han Hong, and others are scheduled to participate in filming the music videos for over a dozen Olympic songs.

And according to the cultural activities department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG), 120 contestants of the 75th Miss World pageant will be coming to Beijing to take part in the music video for the Olympic Torch Relay song "Light the Passion, Share the Dream."

 

The public can begin watching the music videos early next year through various television stations across the country and mobile television as well as Internet media.
