Construction of the equestrian venues for the 2008 Olympic Games
have finished on time in Hong Kong and the facilities are ready for
testing, officials said on Saturday.
The next step for the venues, which will also house
equestrian-affiliated services, are security checks and testing,
the Hong Kong Jockey Club said.
Most Olympic competitions will take place in Beijing, but Hong
Kong will host equestrian events between August 9 and 20.
The jumping and dressage program will be at Sha Tin, which
houses Hong Kong's largest race course, while the cross-country
competition will be at Beas River.
