From August 15 to September 17, over 800,000 tickets for Paralympic competitions will be sold by the appointed ticket sales agencies in the Bank of China in Beijing and Qingdao. An individual is permitted to buy a maximum of 10 tickets at any one time. On-line purchase is also an option. On-line sales for the Beijing Paralympics tickets began on June 20. With two further athletics events latest added, there will be a total of 205 Paralympic events, with 860,000 tickets for sale. There remain around 800,000 tickets available covering most events apart from some sailing sessions.
For the convenience of the public, the official ticket sales website of Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) announced on August 14 that from August 15 to September 17, the public can buy and print Paralympics tickets during working hours in the sales agencies in the Bank of China in Beijing and Qingdao. During this period there will be 30 sales agencies in Beijing and 2 in Qingdao.
The official BOCOG ticket sales website will continue to sell Paralympics tickets until 18:00 on September 14. Those who buy tickets through the website can print their tickets in the agencies up to September 17. The BOCOG ticket sales center said no ticket will be sold in cities other than Beijing and Qingdao.
The BOCOG ticket information center (010-952008) provides ticket information to the public, but does not sell tickets or accept payment. The public can go to the official website (www.tickets.beijing2008.cn) for information on sales agencies and for booking tickets.
