Zhang Yining, Huang Liping to take oath at Games opening

Chinese female paddler Zhang Yining and gymnastics referee Huang Liping will take the oath respectively on behalf of all athletes and officials attending the Beijing Olympic Games at the opening ceremony Friday night.

Zhang, 27, who won two gold medals at the Athens Games, will participate in the women's singles and team table tennis events at the Beijing Olympics.

Huang Liping was an ex-gymnast and world champion. He will act as a gymnastics referee at the Beijing Games.
