Members of Tunisian delegation commended the Beijing Olympic Village as the best after their flag-raising ceremony on Wednesday.
Tunisia's fencing coach Mugur Gheorghe Codreanu said the Beijing Olympic village is perfect, with all kinds of facilities and delicacies.
"People here are nice and friendly," said the coach, quoting his compatriots as saying they live a comfortable life in the village.
Tunisia has sent 27 athletes to the Beijing Olympics, participating in athletics, fencing, boxing, Judo and swimming.
Tunisia first took part in Olympic Games in 1960 and has collected six medals since then. However, there has been a medal drought for Tunisia since it got a bronze at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.
The country's Olympic glory mainly belonged to one man, distance runner Mohamed Gammoudi, who won four medals, including Tunisia's only Olympic gold medal. The other two Olympic medals came from boxing.
