16 Finnish athletes selected for Beijing Olympics

The Finnish Olympic Committee recently selected 16 athletes to take part in the Beijing Olympic Games, said the website of the Finish Olympic Committee.

 

The selected athletes represent four sports: shooting, wrestling, rowing and athletics. This selection was the first of the four selection dates. The rest of the dates will be in April, May and July, 2008.

 

Following is the lists of the selected 16 athletes:

Kai Jahnsson (pistol)

Jarkko Ala-Huikku (greco-roman 60 kg)

 

Rowing:

Minna Nieminen and Sanna Sten (lightweight double sculls)
