Adjust font size:

Cameroon took over Honduras 1-0 in the Olympic men's football tournament  in  Qinhuangdao on Sunday.

Midfielder Stephane Mbia's right-foot low shot in the 74th minute finally opened the scoring for Cameroon after they wasted several great opportunities.

In the 85th minute, Cameroon's substitute Alain Olle struck the ball on the post, but Christian Bekamenga failed to convert the ball into the empty net.

He also could have helped his team to take the lead earlier in the 54th minute, when Aurelien Chedjou's brilliant pass put him clean through. However, he kicked the ball over the bar.

Honduras' best chance came in the second minute after opening. However, midfielder Ramon Nunez's shot went wide from the far post.
