Chen Yibing |
China is likely to dominate the Men's rings with its two-time world champion gymnast Chen Yibing. Chen won gold in the rings event at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart. He also won the World Cup event in Tianjin in May.
The Chinese trampoline team is expected to perform well in the Beijing Olympic Games. Huang Shanshan, who won a bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, is in good form. Her breakthrough at the World Cup will increase her confidence as the Olympics approach.
Two gold medals are up for grabs in today's table tennis competition. China's table tennis dream team is expecting to win all the gold medals at the Beijing Olympics. The six Chinese table tennis players dominate the world rankings, So there can be no doubt that China will win at least two gold medals.
