The Chinese national women's soccer team arrived here on Monday evening to prepare for the two Olympic warmup games against visiting Australia.

The two friendlies will be held on July 6 and 9 in Tianjin, a co-host city of the Beijing Olympic Games.

The Chinese team had just concluded its pre-Olympic training in Shenyang, the capital city of China's northeast province of Liaoning.

At the women's soccer World Cup last year, hosts China lost 1-0 to Norway in the quarterfinals in which Australia were edged by Brazil 3-2.
