Nigeria's Olympic women's soccer team, the Super Falcons, have concluded arrangements to arrive Finland on Monday, June 23, 2008 to play tune-up matches as part of their preparations ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in China.
According to the Lagos-based P.M News paper, Jossy Lad, Falcons head coach, said the team will travel to Finland to play their hosts and some top clubs.
He added that the matches will give him an opportunity to select players who will possibly make his final list for the Olympics .
The coach said his team has been training for a long time as part of their preparations for the Games.
He disclosed that 24 players are in camp at the Abuja National Stadium on Tuesday.
The coach said he is happy with the caliber of players in camp, adding that all the players are committed to the training program.
