The world's tallest walking puppet TARA will stroll the Shanghai streets, a performance to celebrate the opening of a textile expo in the city.

The eight meters tall TARA is a girl puppet with joints in her body like a human, the Shanghai based Oriental Morning Post said.

TARA was transported from South Korea to Shanghai after been disassembled. It takes ten people pulling sideways and a ten-meter tall tow car to make her walk.

The puppet will meet Shanghai citizens on Tuesday at Xingyi Road nearby a mall where the expo will be hold.
