Chinese undergraduate programs include 4 specialties: Chinese Language; Literature and Culture; Economy and Trade; and Chinese-English languages. The goal of SCLL is to turn out multi-lingual personnel with competent knowledge of more than one discipline and the capability of communicating in Chinese. In order to satisfy the special needs of overseas students, SCLL, also offers non-degree training programs including Intermediate and Advanced Chinese courses (economy & trade), and Advanced Chinese-Japanese Interpretation and Translation. SCLL has 70 teachers of Chinese, 8 of whom are full professors and 25 of whom are associate professors.
Currently BFSU recruits about 1, 200 foreign students from over 40 countries. The students mainly come from America, Europe, Japan and South Korea. So far over 10,000 foreign students have finished studies or are still studying at BFSU.
BFSU's beautiful campus and diverse language programs offer a unique and ideal environment for both Chinese and overseas students to master their target languages.
