Adjust font size:

The Pakistani militants have killed a man allegedly spying for the United States in northwestern Pakistan's tribal region, local television reported on Wednesday.

The dead body was found near Wana, main town of South Waziristan tribal agency on the Afghan border, on Wednesday, the private Geo TV channel said.

Reports said a note, wrote in local Pashtun language, was found near the body, which warned that those who work for America will meet the same fate.

Locals said that the man named Ismail Khan was kidnapped from Wana a few days ago.

It is the second killing of such kind in the Waziristan tribal region within days.

The militants also killed two Afghan nationals on charges of spying for the US forces in North Waziristan tribal agency on Saturday.

The militants have killed many tribesmen, alleging that they spy for the US forces who keep crossing border to strike the militants' hideouts from Afghanistan.
