In addition to treating the massive joint, Piper and Kimbrough lubricated the hand on the one end of Canadarm 2, the station's robotic arm. They also relocated two transportation aid carts outside the station, setting the stage for the relocation of an external stowage platform.
Endeavour arrived at the space station later Sunday on "home improvement" mission. It delivered a series of new facilities which will allow the station to house six residents by spring 2009, including a second toilet, a new kitchen, two sleeping quarters, etc. Meanwhile, Endeavour crew will conduct four spacewalks servicing the station's external equipment.
