The Indonesian Legislative House gave a positive response to the government plan of enacting a government regulation in lieu of the law (Perppu) for crisis anticipation.

"The decree on safety network of financial sectors (JPSK) is being finalized and will be issued in a few days after," the Indonesian Business daily on Saturday quoted deputy head of central bank (BI) Miranda Goeltom as saying.

Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said that the government and the house had discussed about the decree that concerns on financial crisis.

The decree will authorize BI and the government in dealing with any unexpected situation amid the crisis.

"We have consulted with the Legislative House. The government and BI would take preventive actions on the impacts of global financial crisis in the country," she said.
