Adjust font size:

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe has said that he will soon form a new government, state media the Herald reported on Wednesday.

The Herald quoted Mugabe as saying "We shall soon be setting up a government."

"The MDC (the opposition Movement for Democratic Change) does not want to come in apparently," Mugabe was quoted as saying.

The Zimbabwe president made the remarks on Tuesday after he opened Parliament which held its first meeting since the disputed March presidential elections.
