At least five children were injured Monday when a suicide bomber
rammed his explosive-laden car with a military school bus in
Pakistan's eastern Punjab province, the army said.
Army spokesman Major General Waheed Arshad said the driver and a
security guard were also injured in the attack at the town of
Kamra, some 70 km northwest of the Pakistani capital Islamabad.
Kamra houses the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, a facility used
to service, assemble and manufacture aircraft for Pakistan. The bus
was taking a group of children to school when it came under attack,
said Arshad.
