The US Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary Daniel Glaser arrived
in Beijing Sunday afternoon on the eve of the new round of
six-party talks that will begin on Monday.
"We had a good meeting in Macao with the Macao monitoring
authorities," Glaser said upon his arrival at the Beijing
international airport Sunday afternoon.
He came here after his visit to Macao, where he met with
government officials.
Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan on Sunday said North Korea
and the US had worked out a solution to the frozen funds at the
Macao-based Banco Delta Asia.
Glaser said he will meet with chief US negotiator Christopher
Hill in Beijing.
