Tehran has responded to the package of incentives proposed by six major countries in a letter to EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, Iran's English-language Press TV said on Friday.
The letter was signed by Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and was delivered to Solana by Tehran's ambassador to Brussels, Press TV quoted an Iranian source as saying. The report did not elaborate on the content of the response.
The report came after Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili said on Friday that Iran will offer "a constructive and creative" response soon to the letter of Solana and foreign ministers of six major countries.
Solana handed over an updated package of incentives proposed by six major countries – Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States and a letter from foreign ministers of the six countries and himself to Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki last month.
