Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice held talks over the telephone yesterday evening on bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
They agreed to make concerted efforts to boost constructive and cooperative relations, and to further develop and reinforce bilateral dialogue, consultation and cooperation in a wide range of fields. The two officials also exchanged views on the Six-Party Talks on the Korean Peninsula and the Iran nuclear issue.
