Premier Wen Jiabao will attend a commemorative summit between
China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to be
held next month in Nanning, capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Qin Gang announced at a regular
press conference in Beijing on Tuesday that the summit meeting will
be held on October 30.
The summit meeting is to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the
establishment of China-ASEAN dialogue relations. Leaders from ASEAN
countries will also attend the summit.
Qin also announced the third ministerial meeting of the
China-Africa Cooperation Forum will be held from November 3 to 5 in
Beijing.
