"China Tibetan Culture Forum (Kathmandu)" will be held on
December 19-20 in Nepali capital Kathmandu, with an aim of
introducing Tibetan culture to Nepal and the whole world as well as
promoting the exchanges between China's Tibet and Nepal.
According to a press release issued on Sunday, with a topic of
boosting the friendly exchanges between China and Nepal and
promoting the preservation and development of Tibetan culture, the
forum will invite representatives from different circles in Nepal
for the opening ceremony, speech-delivering, academic exchanges and
Tibet photo exhibition.
Many Tibetologists and celebrities from China and Nepal will
deliver speeches on the forum, launched by China Association for
Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture (CAPDTC) and Nepal
Arniko.
As a nationwide non-profit public body granted as United Nations
Consultative Status for Economic and Social Council, CAPDTC was
founded on June 21, 2004 as a non-governmental organization
consisting of volunteers both from home and abroad who love Tibetan
culture and care for its preservation and development.
