China-Mongolia Technology Transfer Center opened in the capital
city of Ulan Bator on Monday.
China's Ministry of Science and Technology founded the center
together with Mongolia's ministry of education, culture and
science.
Cheng Jinpei, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of China,
said at the opening ceremony that he hoped the center could become
a bridge of communication between China and Mongolia.
In 2005, China and Mongolia reached an agreement on
strengthening cooperation in science and technology. The Technology
Transfer Center is one of the programs to implement the
agreement.
