Young athletes from China and Russia will gather together in
Moscow next week and enjoy a four-day sports games, a senior
Russian sports official said in Moscow on Tuesday.
Those games will last from June 13 to 16, covering ten events
such as basketball, gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, diving,
shooting, swimming, wrestling and wushu, said Sergei Korol, deputy
director of the national sports bureau.
There will be 176 teenagers from the two countries to take part
in the events, which will be the only sports occasion in the "Year
of China" marked in Russia in 2007. The last such events was hosted
by China's Tianjin Municipality in 2006.
