Adjust font size:

The Second World Buddhist Forum will be held from November 1 to 5 in east China's Jiangsu Province under the theme of "A harmonious world with friendly relations of all circles".

Ye Xiaowen, China Religious Culture Communication Association (CRCCA) chairman, said the theme "answers to the real intention of the Buddhist creed and coincides with the trend of communication, exchange and cooperation among cultures."

Ye said the harmony concept could be applied to ending conflicts, or even wars, as well as to keeping world peace. The ideal of a harmonious world, addressed by the Chinese government, is a profound understanding of the current global situation.

The Second World Buddhist Forum will be held from November 1 to 5 in Wuxi of Jiangsu province.
