A Chinese delegation of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, left Beijing Tuesday for Cyprus, Finland and Italy.

The delegation, led by Hua Jianmin, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC, was invited by the House of Representatives of Cyprus and Parliament of Finland.

The delegation will pay good-will visits to the two nations.

At the invitation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, Hua will also attend a summit for parliament speakers of the Group of Eight (G8) and emerging economies on behalf of top Chinese legislator Wu Bangguo.
