Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak will pay an official visit to China from June 2 to 5 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said Tuesday.
Najib's tour will be the first to China since he took office in April. It coincides with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of China-Malaysia diplomatic ties.
The development of China-Malaysia relations maintains a good momentum, said Ma, adding that China expects Najib's visit could further strengthen ties and deepen strategic cooperation.
