The oil cooperation agreement between Chinese and Russian governments to be signed in Beijing on Tuesday marks a major breakthrough in bilateral energy cooperation, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan said.
He made the remarks in a bilateral talk with visiting Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin in Beijing Tuesday morning.
Wang said it will establish a comprehensive, long-term and steady basis for further cooperation in this field.
Sechin said the agreement will push Sino-Russian cooperation in petroleum field to a new height.
