At least 10 people were killed and some 20 others were wounded in a suicide car bombing in the city of Kirkuk on Wednesday, a local police source said.
The attack took place at about 5:00 p.m. (1200 GMT) in central city of Kirkuk, some 250 km north of Baghdad, when a suicide bomber drove his explosive-laden car into a bus carrying policemen who are task of protecting oil installations, a local police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
"The policemen were travelling home on the bus and were escorted by a police vehicles when the attack occurred," the source said.
Iraqi security forces sealed off the area and ambulances rushed to evacuate the victims to the city hospitals, he said.
