Senior CPC official meets Nepalese, Mongolian guests

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with Nepal's Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav, who is also Chairman of the Madheshi People's Rights Forum, in Beijing on Wednesday.

Wang exchanged views with Yadav on China-Nepal relations, party exchanges and other issues of common concern. He expressed the hope for Nepalese political parties to unite and cooperate so as to realize prosperity and stability in the country, saying that China will continuously support Nepal's peace process.

Wang also expressed appreciation to the Nepalese government and all parties in the country for adhering to the one-China policy.

Echoing Wang, Yadav appraised China's contribution to the world's peace, prosperity and stability. He reiterated that the Nepalese government resolutely opposed any activities staged in Nepal which were against China or aimed to split China by any kind of force.

Also Wednesday, Wang also met with a Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party delegation led by the party's secretary-general Miegombyn Enkhbold. The two sides exchanged views on celebration of the 60th anniversary of China-Mongolia diplomatic relations.
