Seven ministers of Madagascan government resign

In another hit on Presidential Marc Ravalomanana following the take-over of the Presidential Palace at the down area of the mountainous capital city Monday evening, seven out of 24 ministers in his government resigned on Tuesday.

According to a broadcast by the private Antsiva radio Tuesday morning, the ministers of Health and Family Planning, of Public Functions, Works, and Social Laws, of Environment, Forests, and Tourism, of Agriculture, Livestocks, and Fisheries, of Water, Vice Ministers of High Education, Technical and Professional Trainings and of Health and Family Planning decided to resign on their own.

The ministers submitted their letters of resignation separately following the successful take-over of the Presidential Palace last evening.
