FM emphasizes safety of exported toys
Adjust font size:

China puts great emphasis on the safety of toys, since it is a major exporter of such products, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Tuesday.

"All exported toys must meet strict requirements on production and inspection," he told a regular press conference.

Qin was commenting on India's decision to lift a ban on Chinese toys.

Qin said he hoped any country having found a problem with Chinese toys should provide evidence so that China could check "whether the problems came from a Chinese manufacturer or other issues were involved."
