CPC delegation leaves for New Zealand, Japan

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Saturday left for New Zealand and Japan.

The delegation, led by Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, is visiting the two countries from Feb. 14 to 24 at the invitation of the New Zealand National Party, the Liberal Democratic Party and the New Komeito of Japan.

Wang and his delegation will also attend the fourth meeting of the China-Japan ruling party exchange mechanism, according to sources with the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
