Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang left Kuwait City for Beijing on Monday evening, concluding his official visits to Indonesia, Egypt and Kuwait.
During his visit to Kuwait, Li has met with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and held talks with Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber MubarakAl-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The two sides signed a series of agreements, in which China and Kuwait vow to step up bilateral cooperation in fields such as trade, energy and finance.
The Chinese vice premier arrived in Kuwait on Saturday evening, following official visits to Indonesia and Egypt. He attended the third China-Indonesia energy forum in Indonesia and a China-Egypt business forum in Cairo.
The 11-day foreign tour was Li's first overseas trip since he took office as vice premier in March.
Among his entourages were senior foreign affairs, development, commercial and banking officials.
Li made the visits at the invitations of Indonesian Vice President Yusuf Kalla, Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazef and Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
